The Next Chapter

Thanks to all of your prayers, encouragement, support and God's faithfulness Mission 91 has been approached by multiple organizations in five different countries for risks assessments and training for 2023. We also have 10 students inquiring for the next school (including internationals)!! God has been doing some amazing things and we are excited to share the next part of this journey with you.

We have transitioned to a more global platform with Mission Builders International on September 1st.

Mission91: 2021 Recap

Despite our trip to Cambodia being postponed due to travel restrictions, 2021 turned out to be a pretty impactful year for Mission 91.

We had the privilege of training Missionaries from Youth With A Mission Campuses in Detroit, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Kona and Lakeside. Our trainings equip Missionaries with the skills to recognize and navigate risks overseas so they can boldly take the Gospel to the ends of the Earth while also keeping their teams as safe as possible. This year we were able to train 322 Missionaries across the country and we're just getting started.

Dear Ministry Partner,

It has been a few years since we’ve been able to send out a new family photo and a ministry newsletter via snail mail. As many of you know we’ve entered a new season of working to become our own 501c3 and no longer working under the umbrella of another ministry. While we know that is where God had us green house our ministry He has since released us to serve without constraints. Please pray for wisdom and discernment as we move forward.

2024 came with a lot of personal and ministry trials. We are thankful for a new year and are eager to serve in a larger capacity here locally and abroad. We are pursuing two FAMILY outreaches this year! This has been an ongoing prayer the last 5years that God would open doors for us to serve as a family again. While many of our Mission 91 outreaches and trainings can be in higher risks areas we have been waiting on His timing to provide areas where we can provide training and bring our family to serve as well. We are looking to head to Mexico in April with another family to serve a ministry working in the Red Light District as well as a Fall outreach to Brazil to work with a couple we have been mentoring the last three years and provide them with training specific to their ministry needs. We know that all of the funds needed for these ministry outreaches are above and beyond our monthly support. Will you please consider partnering with us as we embark on the next phase of Mission 91?

In addition to these outreaches we have two specific prayer requests/ needs for 2025. We are needing to raise $1,500 a month in recurring support to be able to sustain a livable wage. God has also highlighted our need for a reliable 2nd vehicle. We no longer feel comfortable utilizing our sole vehicle for long outreach trips and it will provide a way for Annah and the kids to participate in more homeschool opportunities and activities during the day.

We know this sounds crazy as it’s not just one request but many. BUT God is calling us to step out with audacious faith and believe in His provision. Will you join us in what God is doing through our ministry?

Perspective changes everything.

Perspective changes everything.

The last two years have been such a crazy time. We moved with a lot of unknowns and walked away from everything we did know. Each month came with new challenges and this September we finally felt like we were able to take a breath as we moved into campus housing. I remember JT and I reflecting on the year (last two years) in early December and seeing if we felt like God was giving any words or themes for 2021.

While I know we are where God has called us I can also acknowledge that it has been life altering, uncomfortable, challenging, lonely and inconvenient at times. I feel like I have spent the last two years surviving but not necessarily thriving. But I think a lot of that has to do with perspective.
